I have deeply love Amy since the moment I first heard Rehab on the radio, but I had no idea the depth and breadth of her talent and aura until after her passing—she was honest to god a once in a lifetime talent and I highly encourage anyone that only knows surface level info about her struggles with addiction to watch the documentary Amy and to listen to the You’re Wrong About Podcast episode about Amy This 3D piece is an album rework I did from her Live at Hove Festival, Norway Album—it was made with gel pens, crystals, beads, tiny butterflies, pearls, feathers and swarovski pendants. One of my fave parts of Amy’s life is the time she spent at St Lucia Island as it seems she was reaching some version of peace for herself after a lifetime of searching—this piece is inspired by that time in her life as I adore seeing pics of her laughing ***Fly Thee to the Stars you miraculous Bitch***
